Cal is at a table, as usual, with a raktajino, also as usual. What is slightly less usual is that he isn't really indulging in the people-watching that, in Milliways, is never boring. Instead, he's looking a bit thoughtful, his gaze somewhere off in the middle distance.

Cal's been officially settled into his new apartment for about a day with the phone rings. Sam is in the shower, so for a ridiculous split second Cal thinks the sound has something to do with the running water. He hasn't been here long enough to give out his number, after all.
